My One Month Anniversary

Hey Guys!

Can you believe it’s been a month since I’ve started blogging??? (yasssssss)  Like who would have thought cause I sure didn’t. Like I said in my first blog post I’ve had this idea for almost 2 years now and to finally be doing it is a dream come true. I am going to be honest,  I still get nervous whenever I’m about to upload a post.

I have learned a lot and I have plenty more to learn which I’m very excited about. Since I’ve started blogging I feel like I’ve found a sense of purpose( I am still working on this). Having a blog is not all about acquiring a big following, something I had to learn quickly. This is a form of therapy for me and an outlet for me to express myself freely. As I said in my earlier post The Beginning… my goal is to create an environment where like minded individuals can come together and discuss various topics.

I’ll be honest I got in my feelings about a week ago because the people I thought or expected to support my blog were not, but I had to give myself a pep talk and reassured myself that I am doing this for me and not others. If I can get one person to read my blog that in itself is an accomplishment for me.

I would like to thank everyone who have taken the time out to read, like, comment and share my posts thus far. You guys have really helped with boosting my confidence. I know they are many other blogs out there so I’m very appreciative of those who take the time to read and support.  I have made some great connections and I’m thankful for my blogging friends who have been constantly encouraging and supporting. I do hope the support continues. I am excited to see what else is in store.

See you guys next week for another blog post!

XoXo Tanya

  1. I’m happy you are realizing your dream. I’m new to blogging as well and it’s been something that I’ve wanted to do for years, so I share that feeling of realizing a dream and blogging being therapeutic. Keep on writing!

  4. Happy one month anniversary to you, so long as you do what you love to do and it makes you happy, don’t be bothered whether others will support you because it’s for you an no one else so on wards and upwards and keep doing what you’re doing. Congratulations once again.

  5. I love the point you made about blogging being a form of therapy because it really is! It’s just so enjoyable and fulfilling creating your own content. I’ve had the same issue when it comes to support, but I learned to get over it and not focus on who wasn’t supporting me and find people who will. There are millions of people out here to network with and who will enjoy your content. Congrats on your anniversary and I wish you many blessings in your blogging career!

  6. Congrats on one month! I know what you mean, about people not supporting you. But, of course when you’re successful they’ll be right there. Le sigh. But, you’ve got a family of fellow-bloggers here to support!

  7. Happy one month of blogging. I am so glad I found your blog because I can support others who have the same interests as me. It is def hard to get caught up in how many followers you have on your blog and social media but also remember the reason why you started your blog.

  8. Happy 1 month of blogging!!! Honestly, I’ve found that people who are more interested in writing and things support more than friend and family. I think initially they were all excited for my ‘adventures’ and now the wave has gone away lol. Either way, I love your site and I’m excited to see it grow!
